Maiwa Handprints Ltd. collects personal information as required to fill orders and ship goods. We do not disclose or share any personal information with any other party. Credit card information is not stored on our server once an order has been processed.
Maiwa Handprints Ltd. does maintain a mailing list and makes periodic mailings to individuals both via regular mail and an electronic newsletter. We only add individuals to these lists at thier own request and will immediately remove individuals from these lists if requested. Some mailings are regional and will not be sent to all individuals on our mailing list.
Maiwa Handprints Ltd. will substitute or replace defective goods at our discretion.
All returns require a return authorization number from Maiwa Handprints Ltd. before any goods will be accepted for return.
Once return authorization is received customers are responsible for shipping costs back to Maiwa Handprints Ltd. We will not accept COD shipments. COD shipments will be refused.
For international customers: Check with your courier or postal authority for the correct way to return goods so that they are not charged duty at the border. If your shipment is charged duty or customs fees these will be deducted from any reimbursement.
For exchange of defective goods, Maiwa will pay the shipping costs of sending the replacement goods from Maiwa to the customer. In the case of any other exchanges the customer will be charged the appropriate shipping fees.

Maiwa Handprints Ltd. ships via Canada Post insured. Goods valued at over $100 cdn will require a signature. Goods may be sent via courier for an additional charge. Goods are not sent out on Saturday, Sunday or statutory holidays. For courier orders or rush shipments please contact us by phone (604) 669-3939.
NOTE: Shippments going to USA or other international destinations may be delayed by Customs. The Customs office is in the destination country. Customs delays can alter shipping estimates and are outside of our control. Please consider border crossings when choosing a fast (and expensive) shipping method.
Customers are responsible for dye and paint choices and recommendations. Our staff and website does its best to assist customers in estimating quantities, procedures and products. Dye recipes and paint procedures should be tested prior to all projects. Maiwa will not be held responsible for cost of products and/or labour to produce finished projects. Instructions are available free with each product purchased, please ensure you read and understood them before beginning.
