Maiwa Handprints has an extensive line of handcarved buttons from such far away places as Nepal, India, Brazil and China. These unique buttons are handcrafted and superbly finished. Made in small numbers from natural materials such as tagua nut, abalone shell, bone, wood, and coconut shell, they have diverse and unusual designs. 
These are buttons of character and beauty and indeed, some could be considered miniature pieces of art. We search out these buttons to use in our own lines of clothing but also card them for sale in both our stores here on Granville Island. It is not possible to put them in this catalogue as they are changing all the time.
